Circus Animals Rescued From Burning Truck in Indiana
Travelers on Indiana’s I-69 saw an unusual sight on Saturday morning - camels, zebras, and a miniature horse roaming the side of the highway. They were circus animals that were rescued after the tractor-trailer carrying them caught fire. Officers led the animals out of the smoke-filled trailer. None of them were harmed, but two officers were treated for smoke inhalation. The animals were on their way to Fort Wayne with the Mizpah Shrine Circus.
